Let’s try to get organized for the tour! Any ideas?

So Matt’s been off for a couple weeks. Is anyone going to go see the crew on tour? I actually like Matt so much that I’m considering it! I’ve watched every season of AI (except for the one that Fantasia one, because I didn’t like anyone that season! As soon as J-Hud was gone, I was, too!), and yet as much of a fan of some of the contestants as I am and have been, I’ve never seen a tour! If you’ve been, would you recommend it?

And what is everyone thinking about the top 3? Who do you think is going to win?

Sad news bears! Matt went home tonight. Did anyone else get their hopes up a little to high? Because…Adam was in the bottom two! So maybe America is getting sick of him after all. A girl can dream, right?

The good news? Matt will have an amazing career. And, no, I’m not gonna abandon mattfans.com. Unless Ricky or you guys tell me you’re over me. Haha. Until then, I’ll scour out Matt info and post about the rest of the Idol season and how Matt is better than everyone.

Also, did anyone else think that Matt’s final performance beat the pants off his performance from last night? I think if he had sang that hard, Adam may have been going home.

We’ll miss your face on AI, Matt, but rock out the recording studio and we’ll be there to support you!

It’s late here in Northern Indiana, but I have to say a little something about tonight’s “Rat Pack” ep. I loved this theme. Especially because it was conducive to Matt. Matt did great…although, I’m not gonna lie, “My Funny Valentine” may always make me think of Constantine. Remember him? But Matt was, obviously, much better and Rat Pack week could probably have not come at a better time. And god bless my dear Simon for actually loving on the Matt this week, am I right?! And boo on Randy who was all Spongebob Bummerpants this week! What was up with that?! The ones he really liked were the two I was NOT digging on – Allison and Adam. Go. Figure.

Now….Pink! That’s EXACTLY who Allison is! She’s a 16 (oh, thanks AI, I mean 17) year old Pink wanna be! I couldn’t put my finger on it until the comparison came out of Randy’s own mouth. *shudder* I obviously have not, and would not have, mentioned on here my dislike of Pink, but maybe that’s why Allison leaves me going “who cares?!” and “she just sounds like she smokes 50 packs a day!”

Adam…Adam…Adam. That creepy “sexy” face you make at the camera makes me cower in a corner. Stop. That. Now. And then when you do that high pitch squeal note in every song and you stick your tongue out a little…also very creeper. Not a good look. Joel McHale may make fun of it all this week. The swagger down the stairs. The dramatics. The creeper look. The shiny white suit. Yeah… Oh, not to mention that *surprise (sarcasm)* you messed up another song to make it “unique” and it wasn’t a good idea. SORRY. Can we tell that I’m WAY past and over Adam? Um…yeah… But it’s okay, judges, go ahead and kiss his butt a little more. Please. Maybe he’ll stick around to squeal and sound the same and ruin a good (or great) song another week! *shudder*

Danny was okay. I liked it. I’m not sure I liked it as much the second time through (yay dvr!), but I liked it. It didn’t suck.

My favorites of the night were Matt (obvs) and Kris. Matt is in a huge comfort zone this week, for sure, and Kris just rocked it out! I become more and more impressed with him every week, too.

What did ya’ll think? Yay or nay? Who do you think is going home? I kinda agree with Simon…it’s probably not Allison’s week at all. And I’m okay with that. All I know is…GO MATT!

Who else is excited?!?! I let out a squeal that surely had my neighbors thinking I was being killed or something! He wasn’t even in the bottom three!!! And as sad as I am to see Anoop go, because he was in my top three and I’ve been cheering for him, also, since his audition, I’m so thrilled to see Matt stay in! Who’s with me?! So let’s do what JohnnyK replied to my last post and “vote 100 x’s” for Matt next week!!! GO MATT!

Top 7: Take 2

I had to work last night, so I watched the show late, but I loved Matt last night (as well as, Kris and Anoop! Sexy facial hair FTW!). What did ya’ll think? Will my hometown boy make the cut? Who do you think should go? Just my personal feelings, but I haven’t been feeling Allison, Lil, or Adam for the past couple weeks. GO MATT!

TOP 7 RESULTS PLAY-BY-PLAY

Since I’m blogging about it now, I suppose I’ll resist the urge to fast forward through the commentary. I usually skip straight to the performances and results on results night. I’ll admit it.

One) I don’t like the group performances this year. At all. They’re more awkward than in the past. Right? Or is it just me?

Two) The preview of “17 Again”, really? HILARIOUS. Although, aside from the cheesiness of it including Zac Efron, it does have some big names in it. Who’s going to check it out? Also, really, Adam? The cheerleaders? Really.

Three) Miley Cyrus and J-Hud perform. Jennifer Hudson is amazing, isn’t she? Power. House. She is, by far, one of the most impressive contestants to ever hit Idol…in my opinion. And touring with Robin Thicke…I would go see that show! And Miley Cyrus…I wish she’d act 16 instead of 26. But I do (hate to admit it) kind of like this song. But, um, stop headbanging on this song. It’s really not that kind of song…and your hair is getting messed up! Haha.

So who will the bottom three be???? This season’s bottom 3′s have been weird to me. I’ve half predicted and half got wrong. Tonight I’d say Lil, Danny, and Adam. Yeah. I know. Don’t hate me! With Lil going home, because I don’t think the other two are ready to go home.

But, no Adam in the bottom three.

Anoop again? REALLY?! Why don’t they like Anoop? I don’t get it! And he was GREAT last night! Come on, America! And I do NOT agree with Simon saying he deserves to be there. For once. I usually agree with Simon.

I really really REALLY loved Kris last night. I’m a Kris fan, too. He has had moments, big moments, the past couple weeks. And Lil I’ve never really gotten. So I saw Lil coming.

Matt vs. Danny. I don’t think either should be in the bottom three. Obviously Matt is my favorite, since I’m writing on a Matt fan site! And I’m usually a fan of Danny, but I could have taken or leaved him last night, honestly. It wasn’t near my favorite Danny moment. So who will it be…UGH. Matt, again! UNFAIR.

So here’s where I break to say: Seriously, America? Seriously? Why do we always put the good guys in? And why do the judges agree with this bottom three? I guess someone always has to be in the bottom, and you can’t always be happy with who they are, but, at the same time, I’m always perplexed by who the judges seem to want to convince America to push forward in the competition. Danny will be a big seller, so I get that. But Allison? And Adam? Not that they’re bad, but I know I could never listen to a whole CD of them. Ever. And would probably not invest money into them either. *shrugs* I guess this is the issue with reality tv, huh?

Anoop is safe. Lil vs. Matt. It better be Lil, but I have a sinking feeling. :\

I love this song for him. *sigh*

Judges save?? Yes or no?? How can you not say yes?! Listen to the audience!! None of the other contestants who got “voted off” had that response! Oh, come on, Simon! That’s not fair! (Although I’d rather he didn’t win, because it’s rare the winner does good!)

YAY! MATT IS SAVED!!!! Aww, I wanna hug him! Come on, kiddos! Be excited! And start voting so that he isn’t voted off next week!!!!!!! VOTE MATT GIRAUD!!!!!! And a survival to blog another week.

And since I gave you mine, what were your opinions of this results show?

Songs from the movies. Matt Giraud. “If You Ever Really Loved A Woman”. Love the song. Good choice for him and his voice and his piano playing, right? I thought so.

And, personally, this WAS one of my favorites of his. Why are the judges such Matt haters?! I will admit that he had a bit of a note issue in the bridge because his voice cracked, but the rest of it was great, and I rewatched it a couple times (thanks, DVR) and the rough spot wasn’t as bad as it sounded the first time through.

Unrelated to Matt, I do not like the judges comments being snipped. Or, rather, I don’t like not getting to hear Simon. I love Simon. I am not ashamed.
